Are you asking yourself 'what am I doing with my life?'

You'll want to read this email... ✨

Hello hello! 👋

Happy Wednesday and I hope you’re having a great week so far!

It’s week 11 of my accountability challenge with my friends (we’re all sending one newsletter a week until we are all in Chiang Mai - I’m here now hehe).

I cannot believe I’ve sent 11 emails since we started this challenge.

It definitely doesn’t get easier! 😥

A recap of the last week and of things to come

Last week has been wild.

I arrived in Chiang Mai just over two weeks ago and knew 1 or 2 people in the entire city.

I met a guy I knew for lunch a few days after arriving, and less than 2 weeks later I hosted a group dinner for 10 people, created a group chat and have been hanging out with some incredible people over the last week.

It’s always scary ‘moving’ somewhere new as a nomad, doesn’t matter how many times you’ve done it.

But, I knew my favourite places to eat and have coffee at, and I knew about group chats and meet-ups that happen in the city, which allowed me to ease into a few months here and meet people easily in my first few weeks. It just took a little effort.

The opportunities of meeting new people excite me SO much, and my 25-year-old self would be SHOCKED to hear this.

I very much used to be an introvert and I recently had a chat about this with a friend… moving to Thailand as a teacher in 2021 completely changed my life and now, I LOVE meeting people.

Anyways, to summarise, it’s been an interesting and exciting few weeks.

On Friday, I fly to Pakistan! 🇵🇰

I am really excited but also a bit anxious.

I’ll be taking almost 2 weeks off work and I’ll be there for 3 days before meeting my tour guide and group.

I’m travelling there on a gifted trip with a local tour company, and I’m so excited to see the mountains 🥹

Are you having this thought?

Do you ever wonder what you are doing with your life?

Or maybe you feel a bit lost?

I always do, but I’m comfortable knowing that it is ok, and it’s actually good to feel this way.

I shared a story on my Instagram of a book I was reading and it referred to this ‘crisis’.

I got about 10 messages asking me about the book, and I guess many people could relate.

It’s called ‘101 Essays that will change the way you think’.

I highly recommend reading it.

It isn’t all about this life crisis, BUT it has some great snippets in it.

And basically, the answer to ‘if you feel like you don’t know what you are doing with your life’ is… don’t worry about it.

It says ‘if you’re wondering ‘what you should do with your life’, it’s likely that you’re in the limbo between realising you don’t want what you once did, and giving yourself permission to want what you want now’.

In summary of the chapter, the author talks about how it's normal to feel uncertain or lost, and that it's actually a natural part of growing as a person.

Life isn't supposed to follow some rigid plan, and those times when we feel confused or unsure can actually lead to big discoveries about who we are and what we really want.

The main point is that we should trust the process and stay present instead of stressing about having everything figured out.

Life doesn’t always go the way we expect, and sometimes, not knowing exactly where we’re headed is how we end up finding the right path.

By letting go of the need to control everything, we open ourselves up to new opportunities and ideas.

Basically, it’s all about being patient, trusting your gut, and understanding that life goes through phases.

And often, it’s in those moments when we feel the most lost that we grow the most.

Vietnam group trip 🇻🇳

The next group trip destination has been decided… VIETNAM 🇻🇳

I wanted it to be budget-friendly and I wanted it to be in Asia, because it’s an incredible continent!

The trip will be 11 days, starting on 13th May.

We will be visiting Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City, and it’s going to be EPIC!

The price for the group trip is £999 (€1,190), but the early birds will get £50 (€60) OFF their spot.

If you want to be the first to know about the trip, fill out this form (takes 30 secs).
