What’s new?

I’m still in beautiful Jericó in Colombia, but I’m leaving soon to see some more of this beautiful country, before I return home for a week and head off to Nepal with Trip Legend (the guys I’m hosting my group trips with next year).

Hi, how are you? Where are you right now?

It’s funny! When I chat to my friends or clients, their first question is pretty much always ‘where are you?’.

It’s so surreal to think that before I moved to Thailand in October 2021 (2 years ago 😱), I worked 60-70 hours per week and did pretty much nothing else.

Now, I’m a business owner?!

I honestly never thought I would say that and I think I don’t really appreciate that fact about my life enough.

The point is, that if I can go from working in Lidl, waking up at 4am every day, and as a waitress, working til 11, 12 and sometimes 1am, to owning my own business less than a year later, you can too. If that’s what you want, of course!

I’m hosting my second and third group trips next year.

In April 2023, I hosted a group to Bali 😊 

On 24 March 2024, I’m hosting a group trip to Sri Lanka.

The trip is 12 days and it’s during the Easter holidays, which means teachers have the time off, and any of you working an office job, have Easter Monday (1 April) and maybe Good Friday off too saving on those annual leave days.

All in all, you only need to take 8-9 days off work.

What this means, is that, if you don’t want to do something, you feel indifferent about it.

Let’s take travel, for example.

If you don’t want to travel, you don’t feel fear, you feel indifference.

If you’re scared about the unknown, that means you’re interested.

And you know what they say, everything you've ever wanted is sitting on the other side of fear.

If you’re interested in travelling, but are a little scared, I promise you, when you get out there and push past the fear, beautiful things happen.
