Peace of mind while you travel 🌍

my favourite travel insurance...

What’s new?

Since the last email, I have been in a beautiful town called Jardín and I’m currently in Salento, Colombia 🇨🇴

I fly home next Tuesday for two weeks before going to Nepal on a group trip with Trip Legend (the guys I’m running my group trip to Sri Lanka with)🇳🇵

How are you doing?

I’m thinking of hosting a group hike when I’m home in Ireland 🇮🇪

If you’re interested, let me know by replying to this email where you would love to join a hike 🏔️

Peace of mind while travelling 🌎

This email is sent in collaboration with Safety Wing Nomad Insurance.

When I travelled several years ago, I never bought travel insurance.

I guess I just thought “ah it’ll be grand!”

In 2020, when Covid struck, I was travelling in Vietnam / Cambodia, and I panicked a little about what would happen.

I bought Safety Wing insurance during my trip and actually ended up claiming from it because I qualified for a ‘political evacuation’ to get me home safely, while flight price rose to over $10,000.

The entire cost of my flights was covered (not $10,000 haha) 🙌

After several motorbike accidents and travel mishaps, I now always make sure I have travel insurance now.

Because I don’t really plan my travels too far in advance, having the option to cancel my travel insurance subscription at any time is a god send, although Safety Wing actually cover 30 days at home every 3 months!

The most popular and easiest way to get insured for your travels, near or far, short or long, is Safety Wing’s Nomad Insurance.

Best features of Safety Wing Nomad Insurance

  • Unlike many insurance providers, Safety Wing allow you to purchase your insurance before or during your trip

  • It’s a monthly subscription, therefore you can cancel at any time

  • Multiple countries are covered under the same policy

  • 30 days at home are covered for every 3 months of travel

  • You can get insured for short trips too (I recently purchased cover for 5 days in the US)

Good to know: Safety Wing travel insurance has a $250 deductible for claims.

Some inspiration

No rain, no flowers.

A quote I have loved for years.

In the hard times, remember, that life is a rollercoaster and without rain, there would be no beautiful flowers. 🌸
